Why do you do what you do?

Now there’s a question worth pondering!

Recently I have had conversations that made assumptions, big assumptions about why people may be doing what they’re doing.

While the assumptions may have been off base, they certainly give cause for pause.

Do we do what we do because we were asked?

Because we want to feel appreciated by others?

Do we want recognition?

Because we want to be the best at something, or at least better than those around us?

As long as we’re doing good, does it even matter why we do what we do?

YES!

The one true God who created the one and only you, has designed you specifically for a purpose.

Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

“We are God’s workmanship.”

Hold up!

He planned you!!!!!!!

Are you down today?

Friend, I hope this truth stops you in your tracks and causes you to lift your head to the heavens in praise!

YOU were HIS idea.

And HE has work He has prepared in advance for YOU to do.

Don’t miss this…

It’s important that you do what you do FOR HIM.

Maybe someone asked you to do something, you should be doing it for HIM.

Maybe you are a driven person, be goal accomplishing for HIM.

Maybe you desire to do all things well, do all things well for HIM.

Friend, live for HIM.

He never fails.

He never disappoints.

He has a plan.

He wants YOU to get on board with it.

Let’s ask ourselves today…

WHY do I do what I do?

You already know what the answer should be 😉!
